Amaryllis
Amaryllis
A skincare app that goes beyond products — connect with specialists, shop a curated marketplace, book clinic appointments and follow a routine built for your skin, without juggling five different apps.
Skincare, without the juggling act.
Caring for your skin usually means scattering the effort across a dozen places — a forum for advice, one shop for serums, a clinic's clunky booking page, a notes app for your routine. Amaryllis pulls all of it into a single, calm experience.
It's a comprehensive skincare solution that goes beyond merely offering products, empowering people to take charge of their skincare journey. I used it to practise end-to-end product thinking — research, brand identity, UX and product design — on a space where clarity and trust really matter.
Three questions to design around
Consultations, marketplace, clinics and routines under one roof.
Helping, not lecturing — one clear next step at a time.
Credible enough for advice, soft enough to enjoy daily.
Consultations, a marketplace, clinic appointments and routines — together at last.
Four pillars, one continuous experience.
Consultations
Connect directly with skincare specialists for professional, personal advice.
Marketplace
Browse and buy a curated range of products in one trusted place.
Clinic appointments
Find and book treatments at clinics without the back-and-forth.
Personalized routines
Schedule a routine built around your skin and stick to it with ease.
Four principles, one feeling.
Calm
Soft, uncluttered layouts and a botanical palette — skincare should feel restorative.
Guided
One clear next step at a time, so personalization never tips into overwhelm.
Trustworthy
A clean, credible identity that earns confidence around advice and clinics.
Unified
Four needs, one consistent system — no more juggling separate apps.
A bloom for a name, a system for a brand.
The amaryllis is a flower that signals renewal — the right metaphor for skin you're caring for. I built the identity around it: a refined logomark, a contemporary type system and a soft, botanical palette that reads clean and clinical without ever feeling cold.
Take charge of your skincare journey.
Where I'd take it next
Research real routines
As a passion project this began from intuition. The next step is interviews with people managing skin concerns, to ground the flows in real frustrations and goals.
Design the full flows
Extend the brand into the complete journey — consultation booking, the marketplace and checkout, clinic scheduling and the routine planner — then prototype and test it.
Inclusivity & trust
Skincare spans every skin tone and condition. I'd design for that range deliberately, and build in the credentials and trust signals that advice and clinic features demand.
And that's a wrap. 🎬
This is a restructured telling of a project that I revisited purely for fun and to experiment with new ideas.
